Tom Ruple, a captivating oil painter based in Columbia, South Carolina, draws inspiration from identity, religion, and his close-knit upbringing. After earning a bachelor's degree in studio art from Brevard College, he immersed himself in Harlem's vibrant art scene. Furthering his passion, he completed a master's in museum administration at St. John's University. Tom's art, an enigmatic fusion of symbolism and emotion, delves into the essence of the human spirit, inviting viewers on a profound introspective journey. Currently working with the collection at the beloved Columbia Museum of Art, his ever-evolving work continues to resonate worldwide.
